HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT

BEFORE YOU START

  • The corresponding author/s must collect and enter the following information for the abstract submission:

    • Contact information: First and surname, rank, affiliation, affiliation country

    • Title: Full paper title for the presentation

    • 5 relevant keywords

    • An Abstract of up to 250 words.

  • Save your 250-word Abstract using this file name: Surname_FirstName_TitleKeyword

 

SUBMIT YOUR PROPOSAL

  • To submit, scan the QR code to access the submission form or visit this link: https://forms.gle/HvX67NUTEQhMZ7CQ8.

  • You will be required to provide an email address.

  • The official Acceptance and Invitation Letters, Conference Program, and Abstract Book will be sent to this email address.

  • Choose your preferred presentation formats: Oral, Panel, or Workshop

REVIEW

  • Your submission will undergo double-blind peer review and a final review by the SICRI Advisory Board.

RESULT

  • Notification of results will be sent in January. If your abstract is accepted, you will be invited to register for the conference, and a Letter of Acceptance will be sent to your registered email address.

 

 

REGISTRATION

  • Submit your registration payment by the deadline. A confirmation email with your official receipt will be sent upon payment. Submissions will not appear in the Abstract Book unless you or a co-author register on time.

LOCATION

Host University: 

The University of the Philippines Tacloban College (UPTC) is a constituent unit of the University of the Philippines (UP) System. It has four academic divisions: the Division of Humanities, the Division of Social Sciences, the Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and the Division of Management. The college currently offers 10 undergraduate programs and two graduate programs, including a Master of Science in Environmental Science.

Venue:                       

The Leyte-Samar Heritage Center (LSHC) is the official venue of ISIC 2026. It is dedicated to promoting the tangible and intangible heritage of Eastern Visayas through research, cultural programs, and public engagement. It regularly hosts forums, workshops, exhibits, and performances that celebrate the region’s diverse histories, traditions, and creative expressions.

​

The Islands:             

Situated in the island group of Eastern Visayas, Leyte embodies the vitality of island life. Surrounded by vast seas and lush landscapes, it thrives on a deep connection between land and water, which is seen in its vibrant culture, livelihoods, and the warmth and creativity of its people. It is linked to the island of Samar by the iconic San Juanico Bridge symbolizing connection and shared heritage across the Visayas.
